What was in the October 2016 Little Life Box?

We love healthy products. We love how versatile we can be when introducing you to them in our boxes (toothbrush made of recycled yogourt cups, chia bites, aloe vera…and the list goes on). When we first started sending out our boxes they were meant to be filled with samples. It turns out that we’ve been able to provide you month after month with full-size products and deluxe size samples.

Around here, searching for the best in health is a daily thing. Not just the best products for our boxes, but the best info, recipe ideas and trends so that we can not only provide you with awesome items to try, but we can also better guide you on how to use them and why!

Thanks to our partners this month for making the October Box so special! This is the review for the Original box.

1. Lip Balm – Burt’s Bees – $5

The weather is getting colder and our skin is starting to feel the change. Take care of keeping your lips moisturized with this lip balm made with rich cherry oil.

2. Clipper Tea – 2 Tea Bags – $1

If you’re not already a Clipper Tea convert, you’re missing out. They have tons of different types of tea and we’ve fallen for their specialty blend of Indian Chai.

3. Mints – Pur – $2.49

We’ll admit that we’re suckers for Pur company. They make awesome, aspartame-free mints and gums in cute packages that you can take everywhere. Having nice breath is also fun.

4. Facial Tissue – Caboo – $0.50

5. Crackers – Edgy Veggies – $6

Take a break. Make yourself a warm bowl of soup and enjoy these crackers that are made from real veggies. Or eat them on their own, with hummus or cheese. There are so many way you can enjoy these crunchy crackers, but one thing’s for sure…you won’t be disappointed.

6. Seasoning Salt – Herbamare – $2

If you feel like things are never salty enough, we feel you. But, even salt can get boring sometimes. Now you can try a salt that is full of flavor, blended with veggies and herbs!

7. Snack Bar – Clif – $5

An organic baked whole grain snack made with a nutritious blend of carbohydrates, fiber, protein, and fat to maintain kids’ energy…so kids can keep zipping and zooming along, but hey, we’re kids at heart so I guess we can all eat them!

8. Seaweed Snacks – A-Sha – $1

Add these thin, crispy slices of seaweed to your buddha bowl and you’ll be a happy camper. Of course, these are just as good on their own, but try and get creative with them because their unique taste and texture can add a lot to your recipes.

9. Vegan Chocolate – Amore Di Mona – $1

If you’ve been holding off on the sweets for that bikini bod, now’s the time to let it all go. This chocolate is gooey and delicious on top of being free of peanuts, soy, milk, eggs, gluten and tree nuts.

10. Sanitary Wipes – SweetSpot Labs – x3 – $1.50

Busy days are the worst – yet inevitable for a girl boss (we’re all girl bosses). Well, these wipes will save your day, especially if you’re running late and don’t have time to shower after the morning workout you did right before your client meeting. Life is hard, but these make it a lot better.
