This Sunday I decided to make a smoothie for my man and I. We don’t have many opportunities to eat breakfast together, so we try to make it a tradition on Sundays. I thought it would be a great opportunity to take a little extra time to make something creative. As an entrepreneur, I look forward to Mondays. Working is what drives me the most so weekends can get boring at times, but i must say that having the time to make healthy food and just chilling feels good today.
For this recipe, I incorporated 1 beetroot. They are sweet, nutritious and give this smoothie a great color. Many people are afraid to add veggies to their smoothies, but if you know how to mix and match your ingredients, it can be a delicious way to get your daily fix of vegetables.
I hope you have as much fun as I did making this. Let me know your thoughts.
