I love hemp hearts and how versatile they are. Love them in smoothies, love them in salads and i actually can’t think of a dish that didn’t taste great with hemp hearts. This time, I decided to dip my chocolate covered banana popsicles in them. So delicious and super simple to make. These can be made in very little time and make for a healthy sweet snack during the Summer that the whole family can enjoy. (makes 8 small popsicles)
- 5 bananas
- 3 tbsp raw cacao
- 2 tbsp maple syrup or more if you want it sweeter
- 1 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp hemp seeds
- Cut 4 bananas in half and insert popsicle sticks in the middle of each half. Place on a plate and place in freezer until frozen.
- Blend remaining banana, cacao, maple syrup and water and pour mixture into a long glass or mason jar to make it easy to dip.
- Dip popsicles into chocolate and sprinkle with chia seeds and hemp hearts.
