Purple Smoothie Bowl

I had some extra time this morning, so I treated myself to an awesome smoothie bowl with all the works. It’s not always easy to throw something together that actually looks good – on a regular basis my smoothies look like mud, but today I put gave it some extra love.

There is something so attractive about the colour purple. This colour came by mixing together some frozen berries, which are Flavonoid-packed, which may help with memory and learning as well as being rich in antioxydants. Great for a Monday morning! Basically, you can’t go wrong with berries in your life. Especially when they make everything look so yum!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup vanille almond milk
  • 1 scoop Classic Plus Protein by SunWarrior
  • 1 tbsp cocoa nibs
  • 1 tbsp goji berries
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1tsp sunflower seeds
  • 1 dried fig, chopped

Directions:

  • Blend berries, avocado, coconut water, milk and protein powder. Pour in a bowl and top with nibs, goji berries, chia, sunflower seed and fig.
